    ride plate cut

I have a problem that since my ride plate was cut the jetski started jumping, and before the cut the ride plate the jetski never jumped and
i don't know if they cut it wrong or what, or there is something else that i should do to the ride plate so it doesnt jump any more.

    Thanks i'll take any advice.

Ok.........what kind of ski is it? Yamaha has waverunner models dating back to 1988, so which one do you have?

What kind of plate is it??

    Where did you get it??

    Who Cut It??

What other mods do you have on your ski?

    Do you have trim tabs??

We can find a solution for you, but more info is needed to help ya!

i have a 2005 xlt1200 and its a riva plate and the trim if put the nose up it jumps and on the gps it goes slower and if put it in N it jumps the same but goes faster on the gps and the ride plate it was cut in miami that where i live and dont want to say who cut it.
    About the mods
    carbs bore out
    intake grate
    ride plate
stinger3 but now im going back to stock exhaust with d plate
    stock head with 165 compression
    prop and cone

but for a three seater i think im fast because im doing 63.2 on gps. but i want to go faster and i think that if the jestki doesnt jump i will get more speed out of it.

Have you tried the sponsons all the way down? That is assuming they are aftermarket.
