    temp gauge on 951?

    is there any way to hook up a temperature gauge on a 951 engine and how?

    I am putting one on mine. Drilling and tapping my miller head. Using this one.

    Have you thought about water getting into these gauges? I was thinking about doing the exact same thing, but this was one question that i was unsure of....

    I am not sure how water proof these are

    I'm sure they are not water proof. I am just going to run some clear silicon where it needs it, and hope for the best.

    So you can cut a hole in the boat and wait for it to corrode and then wonder what to put in the hole next... I could see a EGT gauge to check the tunning

    it would be nice to know when somethings going wrong with your engine or for some reason its not cooling properly. just one more way to prevent failure. just a thought
