engine info needed
My 04 MSX150 had a new engine installed in 06. It is a 'liberty' engine. Is that a reputable co. & a good running motor. this new engine matches all the spec. as the original one. Thanks kind people

Liberty is just the branding that Polaris used for their engines, it doesn't actually mean much.
The MSX 150 uses a 150HP rated Weber (German built) two cylinder, turbocharged 4-stroke engine. Unless someone went to a lot work effort, that would be the same engine that was in that hull from the factory.
There were a few updates and service bulletins related to those engines, so I would expect your replacement engine had all, or most of, the updates.
Was your engine replaced under warranty?
