A little info, I work on air conditioners for a living and now adays there is a lot of electonics in them. Many times when there are poblems its a bad conection in one the the many mulex plugs. Now the plugs on jet skis are much better made but they can still fail and fail intermitently. Heck, the fuse could have caused the poblem and when you removed it and put it back in that could have soveld the poblem. Start it up and move the wires you messed with to see if it dies. Play with the plugs, you never no.

I had this exact problem with a couple of bad Advents but never with the stock ignition.

    Exclamation

The question is: where does the power come from?
    1. I see the starter relay has two small wires.
    2. One would be a contact power wire,
the other runs to the ignition: Now does this contact turn on the ignition?
and how does it do it?
Is the voltage sent to the IGN for just as long as the relay is pulled in?

Because under normal condtions, if you just bumb the starter the LCD lights up, and you hear the beep.
So this is what I am thinking...
so if my relay has a bad contact and does not send the voltage to the IGN. then the IGN doesn't know to turn on, it is just in stand by.

If this is not what signals the IGN to turn on what does?

Check the wires and harness connector to the stator all the way up to the electrical box if that's bad you will have no display or spark.
