    12 Deer

I know this isn't jet ski related but I just went into the kitchen to fire up the dishwasher and thought I would look in the back yard. I usually have 2-3 little deer come in to corn every afternoon/evening and I just wanted to see if they were still out there. There were deer all over the place. Front, side and back yards. As I was going from window to window to count them my cell phone rang and it was a neighbor from down the street. He said he counted 12 running into my yard as he was walking his dogs. I couldn't get a good count cause his hounds had them nervous and they kept dashing back and forth from the front to the back and back to the front. I enjoy watching them year round and corn is cheap so I throw out about a quart or 2 every day after work. Hopefully they'll come back before last light in the future so I can snap a few pics. And yes, I'm a huge hunter (usually with the bow). But my yard is a no hunting zone.

Thats funny to hear you say that. Every afternoon I go into my cow pasture and watch a bunch of deer. This afternoon I took my girlfriend wtih me and she asked "who the hell else enjoys this?" Im going to tell her I found some one ha. I'm a big hunter also.

Try throwing a watermelon out there. They can't resist the smell of it broke open.

I saw a deer on Route 287 last summer, unfortunately it was 2 feet in front of my car and I was going 70 mph. That didn't end well for the deer....

Nice picture driveumhard. Looks like a postcard. I love watching nature whether I'm in a treestand or the kitchen.
