You can use your current shaft.
You just need the bearings, seals, cone and stator vein (pump).
They need to be pressed together properly.

You need everything, but the shaft

Went to the water today, did 66.7mph constantly on my gps without sealing ride plate nor intake grate. It is really sluggish out of the hole, so I am shaving my spare head on tuesday and testing again.also sealing the intake grate and ride plate.

What speed were you previously running before the mods?
Also what RPM's are you turning vs. before?

My question is aimed at the XLT\XLL guys did you keep your reverse set-up or remove it when you did these mods?
