My dealer called me back. He said that the HP # on the title was the estimated rating at the pump and could not explain why it had black and white as the colors but said I should not worry.
BS or what?

thats true... that is the pump HP rating... the regular 215 hp i think they lsited as like 106 pump HP or something like that
that gimmick actually helps ALOT of people that live on private lakes where it's like 110 or 125 HP limit... little play on terminology and some people get to have the big HP skis on their private lakes.

That HP rating also helps big time on your insurance rates.

The HP issue is kind of like what Mercury used to do with their 9.9 HP outboards. Everyone knew that they were 10 HP, but at the time a boat with 10HP or under did not have to be registered. It was their loophole. Just a lil way they give back to the customer!

you need to thank your dealer. The secretary at the dealership that filled out the PWD-143 form probably doesn't have a clue what an RXP-X is or much less what color it is.
