    Front Hood Compartment?'s

Is there a need for a mod to the front hood compartment for super course racing? Is the stock latch going to keep it down or do i need to add some other type of extra latch? I heard of guys putting duct tape on it, but if needed i was going to figure out something better than tape.
    Thanks 08RXT-X

The latch should keep it down but put the duck tape along the edges where the hood meets the hull this will help stop water getting into the hull and also help keep the hood secure

    mirrors

Thanks, I was going to try a stay away from the tape, theres got to be another way.

Does the mirrors have to be removed? I saw in the 2008 rule book if you had mirrors they have to be taped over.

most of the racers use light weight hoods when racing so they dont have a problem with mirrors, tape or catches and there so much lighter than the normal hoods but i havent seen anyone tape up the mirrors when racing
