    First Mods For my Ultra 250x 08

    what should I do first motor or handeling wise I ride alot in the ocean and will be doing the races when they are on ? would like to do it all once the right way. Thanks in advance

    Timing advance 6 degrees
    BOV
    R&D plate,grate,sponsons get the full package they work VERY well together
    Deep pick up
    1 degree wedge ( option )
    Cath can mod , stop can draining into sump ( OCMS style) DIY version
    intercooler mod

    this will get you started

    ok cool Let me know where the best place to get parts from is
    as for working on the ski. I havent had to do any thing to it yet since it has so few hrs on it. but Im pretty sure with a little guidance from you and others i can tackle just about any thing. I have a little mechanical skill. mostly with motors with out spark plugs thoe

    None of these mods are hard at all

    ok couple more questions

    1 Do you guys no if there is a IAT Intake air temp modifier In the factory ecu program for fuel, boost, timeing ?

    2. blow off valve blocker or modded wich is better way to go?

    First thing I would do is get rid of the sloppy adjustable stock steering. The cheap way is find a stock 15F steering neck or pay the extra amount and get a UMI or TBM system, it makes a huge difference on these ski's, then sponsons, rideplate and intake grate. Plus a deep fuel pickup is also worthwhile.

    buy your stuff from jerry, this site in other words, great to do business with, and you can get oem parts as well.

    ecu is the non tamper with version, its all thats holding us speedfreaks back now. block that son of bov off, risk is very small, no one i know of logging egt's.

    Do not buy a riva ride plate! You wont like it in offshore riding.
