    89 kawasaki X-2 650 questions

    i was recently given a 1989 X-2 and dont know anything about skis. trying to figure out what the nozzel adjustment is on the left thats beneath the handle bars is for exactly. i'm thinkin its to account for riding condition...

    That adjusts the trim on the nozzle.

    If your solo, you can run neutral, or up. This will point the front of the ski up.

    If you have a passenger, you run it at down 2, and it points the nose down to counter the extra weight on the back.

    Yesterday we had some chop out in our riding area, and i ran it at down 1 so it hooked up more and it ran superb.
