Riva Velocity Stacks and filter for 08 FX HO
Hi, I was wondering how the Riva Velocity Stacks and air filter would improve my 08 FX HO performance? I can only afford these two at the time which is why I'm not buying the whole Riva RPM kit.
Will the engine be louder at WOT with these two installed? Im hoping not. Also, will I get any more MPH on top end? Thanks in advance!

They are worth it. Big throttle response, rpms .
You will have gains on the bottom, mid and top.

Do you know what the stock MPH is vs. what it will be with the two installed? Will these allow the engine to turn 10,300rpm @ WOT, or will I need the impeller to see 10,300rpm?
Also, as far as engine reliability goes, will these 2 items effect long term reliability? I just want to keep the ski as reliable as it is now. Thanks in advance!

They should not affect reliability, just lets it breath. You may notice some increased intake noise but it shouldn't be anything like a free flow exhaust would be.

Im beginning to wonder if adding the free flow exhaust, along with the intake components would be a better choice. I figure more air in will require more air out and the free flow exhaust will allow this to occur better than stock. I'll probably go with the intake upgrades first though.

Free flow will make it louder.
You do not need any prop work. You will see at least 1 mile per hour on top.
