Best oil mix ratio and oil for GP1200R stock

Can you guys tell me the best mix ratio and oil type for a 2000 Gp1200R stock with Dplate? I am currently using a 32:1 ratio with TC-W3.

32:1 is too much oil. Go 40:1 or 45:1 and I am not familiar with that oil but any good quallity full synthetic oil will do just fine. I use Motul 8002T.

Seeing as the stock pump puts out 30:1 at WOT, why would you say that 32:1 is too much oil? I ran mine at 32:1 with good results.

I think its been shown many times on this site that yamaha doesn't always get things completly right straight from the factory. I also ran 32:1 when I first got my boat. It would smoke rediculously, fould plugs and had built up oil residue draining from the exhaust. Its not like I was putting around. I run the crap out of my boat. It was just too much oil. Switched to 40:1 and havent had a problem. No abnormal engine wear, and no sludge draining from the exhaust. Plus I spend less money on oil.
I had this same problem with my motocross bikes.

I don't know that there's a right or wrong answer here. A lot of guys use 40:1, I just like the extra protection of 32:1 and I didn't have a problem with fouling plugs or smoke using Dominator.

    40 to 1.

Game set and match...use a good pre-mix oil, does'nt have to be synthetic, just stay away from cheap stuff.
