ANNC: Jet Wings sponsons tested by Group K on GPR
I'm proud to announce the results of Group K's test of Jet Wings carbon high performance sponsons.
The test was conducted by Group K's Scott Fancher, on Chris Vuckovich's monster GPR, comparing the Jet Wings Outer Reef model with Beach House sponsons.
We expected way better cornering , much greater stability on the high speed straight-aways, and possibly slightly higher top-end.
The results? Everything we wanted and more! According to Scott, Jet Wings provided the awesome cornering we expected, excellent stabilty at all speeds, and an extra .5 mph top end (radar gun).
After the test, Chris took his GPR on a long ride up and down the river. He told us that the increase in hook-up in the rough water was phenomenal - he estimates he was making 4 or 5 more mph through limiting cavitation!
What makes Jet Wings so good is the revolutionary patented hydrodynamically correct design - every other sponson on the market is merely a slab of plastic.
If you care about performance, you owe it to yourself to try Jet Wings - you'll leave your buddies in the dust!
Did I mention that the Jet Wings Outer Reef model is constructed of carbon composite? Looks great and works unreal.

Not to my knowledge, but let's face it - getting run over by any ski wouldn't be fun!

You're right! Here's a link to the Outer Reef model's page, with a picture. The Outer Reef model costs $400, and comes with two sets of fins, so you can fine-tune the handling - these will fit most Yamahas, including GPs:
