    New add of intercooler

I just added the RR intercooler and RR ecu, the 4501 and have a question. The machine was a level 1, Riva inlet, Vortec wheel, and 14/19 prop. GPS's 68.6 average at 8100-8150. I added the intercooler and ecu and went to test at 105 degrees and rough water. First, I "blow" out the prop on start and then only reach about 7600 plus on run but constantly unloading the prop and hearing the POV whistle on every other wave. It was about 3' chop. Questions? Prop obviously too small-ordered a 15/20 Riva to test... Didn't check the stock ecu vs. RR, and I think I
should have... Lastly, I've heard the POV was a question, wearing clutches the other way..... Any opinion would be appreciated. Terry

    You definately need a repitch!

Is your ski an 04? Did it have the knock sensor update? If so see this thread: http://www.greenhulk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=245

I just saw the posting from Peter and GH on the sensor and update and I know my update was done, but have never heard of removing the jumper. Was this widely known?

No, and unfortunately the people you buy the ECU from do not put it in the instructions. GLEN.... MARK are you guys listening????

Remove the piggyback harness and your RPM's will come up!

Call the person you bought the ECU from and tell them they need to add it to their instructions!

Jerry, Mine is brand new from Glen. I'd bet he hadn't heard this, so thank-you for the help. Just joined and used your site. Congratulations.
If interested, I'll advise on the 15/20 Riva/Solas, but I'm almost
    planning a trip to Impros!
    Again, thanks. Terry

Glen is aware that you must remove the piggy back on the RR ECU.

Also, Glen has the best pitch on a Solas 14/19
