    Solas

I just got a YD-SC-XO for my 98 gp1200 and it didn't come ith a nose cone so I order on for Dennis kirk. It seems like it to big. Dennis kirk said it was the right one. The number is SL009. Is there a trick to these?

was it the rubber one? they are usually tight just fit over the shaft and slide in the nose of the impeller.

I read you really don't need one. I only ride fresh water. Is this true?
