My results with my new intake and 102*

Well guys before my update to my air intake I would
see only 7850 rpm's in the 100 degree TX heat at about
    67mph.

Today with my new intake I saw 8000rpm's all day no heat
fade and 69.5mph on gps with a full tank. It just pulled like
a frieght train. It change the low end the most.

Damn did it make a difference.

So much that my son ran 71mph, 4 out of his 5 runs. I am
    heavier.

I just wish I would of road with sundance.

I think my prop is tall stock, as I don't think I need a re-pitch?
    Anyone know?

If ya'll haven't changed your air intake do it! Period! Holy COW!

    Austin

So you are basically running a stock prop with a homemade air intake and your turning 71 mph, now thats impressive!

Yes, my son ran 4 runs at 71, but I could only see 70.8 as a high for me.

    I am 230 and he is 150lbs.

    So it matters.

    Any prop thoughts?

now young man..............don't touch it just rideeeeeee

PS: I installed one blower on my xpl using the 04xpdi air intakes, I believe I need 2 to properly move enough air as it's only 3" blower and has more restrictive tubing near the entrance.

Compwhiz82 come by any time you want. Heck we can even take a trip up to travis lake and make a ride. My parents have a house in the spicewood bench area. Real nice place to put in and 65 mile of Lake travis dam to dam.

TLR, I am not gonna touch a thing. I just need to see if I want to keep it and have any issue's with the clutch. With my dealers around here I would be screwed. I need to make a run to Dallas and ride with Franko and them. No one around here to run. I am the only RXP around when I go out. So people stay clear.

    Water4fire,

I know the feeling... I accomplished a bunch of mods on my Limited only to find out that no one on the California Delta has taken the same path. Don't get me wrong, I love the performance. But after a few weeks of riding, folks around here caught on to me (mostly from the sound of the Power Pipe exhaust) and don't want to play

I find myself chasing down 225-250 hp bass boats to get any action. By the way, don't bother messing with a 300 hp Mercury equipped Allison bass boat... he'll get bored with you and wave bye bye

    Got to love this sport
