    Groco strainer location options

    just wondering if locating the groco in front of the engine on an rxp would be a little to long or should it stay short and compact? im stuck on numerous different options. as we all know there isnt a whole lot of room so im in a rut of where to locate it. thanks for yallz help

    I put mine in the back right over the VTS module. Not terribly hard to get at but I just wanted it there.

    Can kinda see it in this pic. Ill get some better ones later when I yank the shit to put my new waterbox in.

    I mounted mine just above the VTS housing... it's right in-line with the water routing and out of the way. And you can still remove the bowl and clean it out without removing the seat cowling

    Thats how mine is. Still easy to get at too, yet cant see the dam thing.

    hmmm thanks guys....that location is where i have it temporarily zip tied to. just didnt really like it. manily cause the nipple under the vts where the hose hooks into to go to the strainer was at a krinking point which just wasnt working for me. i dunno. maybe an elbow routing it up would solve my problems......

    I have mine in the front right front corner near the I/C block off.
