    Retainer weights???

I see that Les' reatiners weigh 4.2 grams,

What do Riva retainers weigh? Or rotax racing?

Also does anyone know the weight of the ferra lightweight valves compared to Les or RR valves?

when i weighed my stuff and me and another guy compared the weights

Riva & Rotax Racing retainers only 5 grams
Less Cooke retainers only 4 grams

Ferrea Valves & Rotax Racing Lighweight Valves were same weight respectively as one another on exhaust and intake.

    Thanks,

So if I want to run at 9000rpm and I have the riva valvetrain kit and ferrea valves, should I use the stock springs and riva retainers etc or the complete riva kit?

the Riva kit stays together!!!!!!!!!! the Stock springs be can run with Rotax retainers and Rotax shims..........OR.......the Stock springs can also be run with the Les Cooke retainers only.....the Stock springs in combination with either Rotax Racing or Les Cooke retainers BOTH require lightened valves obviously! good luck Gun!

Grant, keep with the complete Riva kit and you won't go wrong.
