Gains for the kanaflex hose vs. riva intake
Weve got stage one riva intakes on both of our skis. One is going to be rude one, the other xcharged. What are the gains of going kanaflex over the riva intake? Some have said its not noticable.. one obvious perk is kanaflex is cheap and I can then sell the riva intakes.. but I honestly dont think I want to be bothered and would prefer just to stay with what I already have.
were talking 3" vs 4" but in theory, it bottlenecks when it gets to the throttle body anyhow so ???
what are your thoughts?

Great question. Just so you know, I ordered the kanaflex hosing from LI yesterday afternoon. The hose is sitting in my kitchen right now. Great service. Morelandhose.com. I was told to go with the 4 inch intake and cleaner. Whether or not that is has shown improvements over the 3 inch RIVA, I'm also curious.

Can you measure the inside diameter of the RVIA air intake? I know I have seen atleast a 200 rpm from a stock air intake to a 4" DIY air intake on a RXPX with an X-charger.

Now remember, the airflow will bottleneck at the throttle body so based on that, 1" in the intake pipe should not matter (in theory).
My experience with cars was always that shorter intakes were better and diameter didnt matter if the throttle body was stock.
