    X model intercooler piping

Is the upgraded plumbing worth it? I know the stock hoses suck but are the upgraded blue houses any better with better clamps?? What would you guys reccomend?

    Thanks

Tried to fit the pirahana hoses and the one fit nice and the other was way to big and slopped around, supplier said they just clamp them up but i wasnt keen on that! so sent them back

I've read that the blue pirahna hoses are much better then the stock rubber hoses but not as good as aluminum.

Where do you get aluminum ones? Two alum tubes can't cost as much as the $550 riva setup.

I got the Piranah hoses for my X and neither fit.... the one from Throttle body to Intercooler didn't even make the distance the other was Twisted when it was on...And no reply to PMs on his forum and yes I had them the right way around...

I was thinking the IC relocation kit get some extra room and the alum pipes are included

There's a little more to the relocation kit than two aluminum tubes. It also comes with a very sturdy mount bracket, silicone couplers and SS hose clamps. The plumbing has an integrated mounting flange for a BOV if you choose to run one. If not, then a blockoff plate is available. I personally don't like running a BOV and recommend the flange be blocked off.

    Much cleaner setup!!!!
I can do regular maintance and inspection on my ski without having to remove rubber cluster.
