have used them and they are good but i cant fault the carbon seal so dont see the need, I run carbon on all skis from stock to turbo,c kit etc and as long as the intake area is sealed up correctly no cavitation on rxp and rxpx

Hi Mike, As I make the Rad 4 Racing seals I guess I might be a little bias but the advantages are.....
1 No air gets sucked in to the intake area ever!
2 No water makes it past your seal into the hull as it does with the carbon seal ( See the black line in your hull)
3 No acceleration is lost through the above taking place and users say it feels like you loose the wheel spin feeling on take off.
4 It is the only seal on the market with triple sealing protection seals, stainless lube hole bearings, fully rebuildable with billet anodized body, stainless retainers and grease fitting.
Fitting is easy as all instructions come with the unit.
They are sold world wide and are in some of the fastest ski's on the planet.
Call jerry if you want to benefit from the results as I think he has some in stock.

I bought one a few months ago and I agree, very well crafted no doubt..I also like the fact that it can be rebuilt..Its not a throw away part IF something goes bad on it...

Skat has a new carrier seal out that allows you to install without making any changes to the shaft like the rad4
