    42# Injectors or not?

    Hey guys just wondering that with the new mods I am doing would u add the 42's or just run the 38's? Also what would u set base pressure at with either setup?

    1. X charger
    2. XS IC
    3. wedge
    4. riva grate
    5. 15/20r
    6. Rude RRFPR

    Well considering you're in PA, you might want to run the 42# injectors just to be safe. Set the RRFPR between 54-56psi. Only way to be 100% certain is to measure your AFR. Quite a highly discussed topic as of late. Try a search.

    here is the thing with this post that I forgot, not sure if i am gonna run the XS IC this summer yet or not if i dont run it are the 38's ok?

    Run the 42's. Better to be too rich some where then too lean. One way means pulling the plugs and cleaning them occasionally. The other way means swimming back to the ramp.

    I agree but with the stock ic the 38s and rrfpr should be fine.

    sorry, i was going off post 1 where it showed #2 xs ic.

    Yeah, he snuck that in there. I have never tested A/F on a boat with a stock IC but I'm sure it will be a bit richer. Running the stock ic is defeating the purpose of installing the x charger IMO.
