    Central Florida Boat Show

Spent some time at the show today. I have to admit, if I had waited till this year I would have bought the Black FZS over my SHO. Damn good looking for a whale!!!! The Sea Doo IS was interesting but big. No salesman even bothered to try and sell it to me. Price was over 16,000

I still don't regret getting my SHO. Aesthetically the FZs don't impress me enough to make me want to change and also where I ride (Lake of the Ozarks, MO) it is usually rough as hell from all the boat traffic.

There is something about it when seen in person, they had our black sho next to the fzr & it is just, IMO, a good looking whale. Love the Black FZS. Dont know if I would give up the wake mode & cruise control. The storage is better on the FX. Guess in the end I would have to ride it to truly make that decision.

All storage is "WATERPROOF".......Can someone validate this? Thats an amazing feature if so. Very few places are waterproof on PWC's. FX's is one area, and small.

I agree the FX's still look better to me....not because I own one either. It's that ride on the FZ that I'm worried will change my feelings about which one I like best. For looks alone though I really like the SHO more too. If I had to buy a ski right now for 09 I would still pick the SHO, but I'm a little bit smarter than that, and would test ride the FZ first.

Nice BOAT pictures......I am going to wait and buy next year. I heard they are going to be a little bigger. Next year hoping for the 23 footers to come in.

Ok, the storage is larger on the SHO, the rear bucket can handle 2 screw anchor's & my ropes, which keeps the wet & dirty away from my cloth's or cooler's up front. the glove box is also more useful on a SHO...

I think my front compartment will let a little water in if i do very hard turns & sub the nose, but not much....

Id still take an 09 SHO if I needed a ski of that size. Love the green!

I hadn't heard that before. What's making it waterproof?...does it have a different rubber gasket on the hood or something?

My biggest issue with wet storage is from exploding beers after riding in the ocean. Thank god for the drainplug.
