Will this help or waste of time ?
Waiting on gasket so I made this plate out of aluminum for a splash shield should I use it or 86 it ? Anybody see any problems i could run into using it like hurting performance ?

I agree, seems like it would be a good idea.
The only thing I think I might consider is spacing it further down away from the TB's a bit more. Seems like anything that lands on the top of the tray (water, water ties, etc etc) will have an easy route at being sucked into the TB's...especially water laying on the tray top.
I'd put 2 90 degree bends in it by the mounts to space it further down toward the bottom of the hull away from the TB's.

i made a splash gaurd from a strip of starboard,,,
5200'd to the hull -water runs right under it w/out getting bumped up into my a/f's

Looks pretty sweet to me.
Do some runs with it and without it. See if there is a difference.
