    Question on 98 XP LIMITED

    Hi there all,

I have a 98 XP Limited and its such a great ski fast and off jumps you can really get some air!! but I got my child and like to take him on with me but the ski is not really stable for 2 people even though it is a 2 person ski.

My question is, is there anything like sponsons or ride plates that can make the ski more stable for two people?

    Thanks if you can help

There isn't anything really to make it more stable, for two-up riding, because of hull design. It's only really bad sitting still, and at idle.

I weigh 185 and my wife is 108, and we have no problems riding two-up.

Weight is a definite factor though. If you are trying to add more than 300 lbs, it would get squirrely.

i agree. you cant do any doughnuts with two people unless you are really just bad ass with two people, but most times it will send you flying. but is stable while riding and even at idling as long as you dont lean one way too much and go with the waves.

try useing a 97xp shock and spring It lowers your center of gravity and makes it a little easier to balance and rebording also we use gsxl sponsens alittle more agressive hook then stock xpl sponsens but not as jerky as like beach house.
