    Taking apart the SC

Hey guys, I am installing an 08 shaft kit on my SC and was wondering do I need to remove that piece of plastic that is on the SC for connecting the Riva rear air?

A good wack with a rubber mallet got it off. Now I need to replace that piece that has 4 holes for a special tool.. it unscrews from inside the housing.

There are also pry tabs on one side that will take a small pry bar and twist to begin to split the halves.
