# Thread: MSD Timing degree tape.

1. ## MSD Timing degree tape.

Does anyone know where i can buy MSD Timing degree tape for the PTO Coupler for a GPR thanks.

2. Why not just wrap a tape measure round it to measure the circumference, divide that by 360 and then you get the distance per degree. Or you could be smart and do the diameter pie thingy.

Then just mark it with a pen or a scribe for the degrees that you want to measure. All thats for free

3. Did I read free Pie? where I like Pie

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumf...ce_of_a_circle

Here is a little aid I have attached paper degree wheel

4. I was going to set it out with a degree wheel but i can't force myself to scribe up my new polished coupler I know you can buy them for about \$4 to suit 800/1200pv just can't find anyone here in Aus that sells them.

5. Like kevski said, do the diameter pie thingy. Measure the dia. of the coupler with a set of calipers, muliply that by pie (3.1412) divided by 360 and then multiply by what ever degree your looking for..... say 30degree.
example, dia. of R&D GPR coupler is 4.112 x 3.1412 div. 360 x 30 = 1.076
Set your calipers @ 1.076 and mark it out on a piece of sticky paper, cut it out and tape it to your coupler.
