    Riva Pump Wedge

The Riva Pump Wedge says that it increases top speed 1-2 miles per hour for around $120. My question is where does the pump wedge go and how easy to install it?

Between the pump and exit nozzle assembly... easy install. Good for about 1 mph. or less if you even like the difference in ride

Bow rides higher. Ride is drier. Less wetted surface on the hull = less drag = more speed. It allows you to trim the boat up more without over trimming the nozzle with the VTS (if your ski has it).

Thanks for the clarification! I hate to ask so many questions, but would this void my jet ski's warranty?

It will dance a little bit... some like it, most don't

I had the R&D 2.5 degree wedge on mine for a while... I personally liked it But it had to go with the addition of the pump extension

    wedge

I didn't mind the way the ski rode but you also should use the extension rod and will have to adjust your steering there is a thread on it but it is easy. Can't say anything about the speed since some other things were changed at the same time.
