    Check out my new toy.

This is why I've been away from the forum for a while, plus the fact that my ski is still getting looked at. I just picked her up yesterday and this is my first bike so i have a lot of learning to do in parking lots and backroads. Here she is!

    Very nice bike Alex

    Be careful on the road.
Look out for those drivers that are not courteous.

Thanks Billy. I'm not planning to ride on any busy roads yet.

I just read where Jim got tossed from his wife's ski. Glad he is o.k.

    FYI,
FOR ANYONE reading this, and thinking about motorcycles.

I don't care if you are a seasoned rider or a newbie. The Motorcycle Safety Foundtation usually gives GREAT classes by RIDERS, and it will reduce your cost.

I've taken the basic course twice, and will take the intermeddiate course this fall.

You will dedicate a Fri afternoon, 8hours Sat, and 8hours Sun, with both written and riding test. You do not use your own motorcycle, but can bring your own gear for the basic class. The mid and upper classes use your own bike.

Alex good call on safety course i took the advanced instructor class and still learned alot after 15 years of street ridding. been licensed on the street since 16 learned in Japan which have to be the worst drivers in the world. also mount a air horn it helps. main thing is watch out for idiots, and old people. and always do a safety check before each ride( air pressure, brakes, lights, anything loose etc)that extra 2 minutes can save your life
