anything is better than doing nothing at all... but i find several distinct advantages of the Seadoo XPS lube..

CRC builds ups, get gunky and thick and you'll see it cake up over time unless you routinely wash it down to remove the excess.

wd-40 will discolor clear and white plastics (like the gas tank and coolant bottle) and have a weird effect on rubber hoses almost making them feel sticky...

you will get several people that are going to tell u WD-40 eats away at the hoses, harms them, it's bad, dont use it, etc etc... blah blah... you will NEVER see those ill-effects in the life of the machine... it will rpotect the metal parts far greater than it will destroy rubber or plastic in a veryyy long time period.

my vote goes to the XPS lube.. it lays out nice, it's thin, it makes everything pretty, and never builds up to be thick or gunky or discolor anything ever... but i realize other products can be had wayyy cheaper... like i said, anyting is better than nothing at all, especially in a salt environment... just some are better than others.

I have been using the xps spray after every ride. My 2005 GTX SC engine compartment looks as good as new. You will even see rust spots slowly start looking better too. After you spray it and wipe it down, it looks like you used armor all on everything. XPS spray is my vote.

I'm a strong believer in the Fluid Film. Ask for a free sample, you'll love it.

i actually work in the industry for a living... i'll play with the stuff, do sales of fluid film benefit you at all? u work for them direct? a supplier or middle man?

maybe i'll stock the product in my shop for ya if it's a better/cheaper solution than XPS lube
