    Power board with outboard motor

Has anyone ever tried one of these??? A friend of the family bought it at the end of the summer and we havent tried it out yet. It didnt have a safty kill switch so he added one over the winter. Its rated for a 5hp motor but the plan is to use a 15hp. I think it will be one hell of a ride.

Nice.. I have only ever seen two in person. the 1st one i missed out but when i saw the 2nd one i jumped at the chance to buy it 2nd hand..
It was in moderate condition for it's age ( 1988 ). i have just finished Re-fiberglassing damage & respraying it a 2pac White..
It is also rated for a 5hp but i have modified it to hold 2stroke 8hp by fabricating some 3mm alloy plates instead of the original part..
I also added some Buoyancy foam in the side of the tail pieces to handle the extra weight.. I don't think it is a good idea to put a 15hp but if it All works out it, Well done. It would be SO fast..
Haven't got it on the water yet but there's more pictures to come..
