Can Pop-Off test be done w/carbs still in ski?

    Hey fellow tinkerer's,

    99xll & 00gpr, Mikuni stock carbs 66b/v (i think they're called)

Inquiring minds want to know, can the pop-off test be done by removing the fuel supply/return hoses and setting up for the test while the carbs are still in the ski?

Seems to me it could still be done just by making sure the inlet is filled w/fuel before the test.

Would the pump diaphram be okay still? Testing on the bench is done with this removed.... would it matter doing it on the bench still installed?

    Just food for thought fellas....
