Looking to start modding my 06 rxt
That's right. After soaking up information more in depth information than I was previously exposed to, I've decided to start modding my newest ski. Unlike 99.9999% of you, I am not worried about gaining top speed. What I want is killer hole shot and if more top speed is an effect, then I welcome it. But like I said, I am focused on hole shot without degrading the integrity of my ski. I want it to last without problems. I'm looking for the easiest and most effective mods to do. I want arm dislocating, finger breaking acceleration. No, I am not going to go out and buy an X, since I don't want to sell my current one that I bought just under a year ago and take a big loss on it. I welcome all your comments/suggestions. I don't want to get into anything overly technical, as I don't have the experience or the tools necessary to calculate AFR or anything else like that.

Add a VTS and go to a lower pitched impeller... Ron

First off take some time and read this;
Second if you want speed, topspeed or acceleration the mix is pretty much the same. The only real difference will be a 3 blade or a 4 blade impeller, you still need the HP to turn it. With a 3 blade prop you'll have the acceration your asking for but your top speed will be 2.5-3 MPH less than a 4 blade of similar pitch.
Enjoy, use the search feature when installing your mods(the questions have been asked and answered 1,000,000 times) and don't hesitate to post questions you have that you can't find on search, post your ideas.

Alright, here's what I'm thinking of doing. I would appreciate input and thoughts on what my top speed may be around. (1/4 tank gas, 850 ft above SL, smooth, air 75, h20 72). I'm trying to figure out if the performance increase is worth the $$.
Stock GPS 66.5
Looking to add:
3 blade 15/19
riva intake grate
2 * wedge
Free flow exhaust

Forget about ALL of that stuff until you replace those ceramic washers with metal, a failure could cost you thousands.

I don't think the 15/19 will do anything for you unless you plan on bending the sh*t out of it or adding these:
AFR would still be in a safe range because the stock ECU can adjust well enough to 10 psi of boost. I would venture a guess and say those 3 mods are another 30 HP, 4 MPH, and a boat load of acceleration for just over $1000.
