Problem installing carbs
Im having some trouble getting the carbs to run right. My mechanic says that the throttle position sensor wont let the a/m carbs run right unless somthing is done? what can i do? All of us ultra 150 guys are running aftermarket carbs no problem . I realy need to figure this out. Or else ill just have to buy another ski.

Its for an ultra 150 and its a set of super bn series mikuni 44mm. He says the throttle postion sensor isnt letting the carbs work the way the are supposed to.

And what are they not doing...
Is it bogging or running wierd overall.
It says your ski is ported...??
Whats the run down on your ski..
What parts are on it..
It may be more than just carbs and tps...
Need to find out more about what it actually doing and where the problem is..Bottom end, mid ect

Does the set of carbs have a tps bracket? If you are running an am ignition you dont need it anyway atleast with the fp ignition you dont and i think the advent is the same.

If your running 44's sbn your running pulse lines I assume to all 3.
And do you have stock heads to put on...or do you know these heads are good.
The reeds are good as well I assume.
What jetting is your tunner running.
Carbs dont come with one unless you get BRM buckshots I think,.
Was the motor torn down fully and put back together right with the counterbalance linned up properly..?

Yea johnny that is about where i was at on fuel pressure.
It does sound like the balancers could be mistimmed. Im not that familiar with the mikunis so i dont know if there is a bracket avaliable. You might have to fab something or go looking for an ignition so you dont need it.

If you look in my project thread I made a bracket for the tps...when I was running the 44 sbn's on my ski...
