    Drive Shaft?Rubber Dampner?

Is there a rubber dampner on the end of the drive shaft like the older models (prop side)?

no only one at the engine end and the nose boot on the prop. if you try to push the shaft back the carbon seal boot will not let the shaft go all the way into the prop.
And as oil pressure forces the shaft back against the seal putting a damper in the prop will cause problems
