    What could this be????

Picked up the 07 GTX Limited today. It had 0 hours on it when I left the dealership this morning. This afternoon the wife and I decided to head out to meet up with some friends on North Captivia. First ride on this thing...........it's not running good! As soon as we idled out of the marina I hit the flipper and just didn't want to get up on plane. I feathered it for the first couple miles and seemed to get a little better but not the way it should be. We kept going and after about 5 miles or so it started running a little better but still a miss here and there. Top speed was around 50 mph. After about 10 miles it was running pretty good and I saw 62 on the speedo. I'm thinking must be bad gas??
After about 25 miles we met friends on a sand bar and let the ski sit for about 1 hour. We went to start back home and it did the same thing! The first 5 miles it did not run good at all. After about 10 it was running pretty decent and saw a top speed of 65 on the speedo. I called the dealer and he said bring it in first thing tomorrow am and we will hook it up to BUDS and see what it says.

    WHAT COULD THIS BE GUYS?

Thank you for any help here........

I really didn't check but it seemed to wind out to normal (8000) on my way back home. It was running about normal when I loaded it. Burned about 3/4 tank of fuel today. My salesman said they just filled the tank before I picked it up.

I'll have them change plugs tomorrow am.
Anything else I should have them check for?

    Thanks!

If you have fresh gas then plugs is your best starting place. Its covered so i wouldnt worrie to much about it. Im not sure about buds but OBDII in cars wont tell you much unless you have a thrown code. And is you a sc model??

Just change plugs... I'll gladly take a verbal beating on this one if plugs don't fix it.

Dealer hooked up BUDS and it spit out a couple codes. They cleared them and replaced the plugs. Plus filled it with gas again. Took it out today in 4-5 foot seas and ran perfect! I couldn't get much for top speed due to conditions but I'm very happy now. Hats off to West Coast Motor Sports in Ft Myers! They got me right in this morning and with in 45 minutes I was on my way to the water. I love this ski and all the extras it came with (debth gauge, GPS, dry bags, storage try, adjustable handlebars).

Greenhulk is a top notch site!
