    My PWC is RXT 2007

    i just done the following modification :-

    1- SOLAS impeller 14/19R
    2- R&D Intake Grate
    3- OPAS Competition Kit (Riva)
    4- Riva 2Degree Pump Wedge
    5- Catch Can Breather
    6- XS intercooler ( I remove the Resonator )
    7- Gen II SC impeller
    8- Riva 3" air intake
    9- K&N oil filter

    * The Result :-
    After I install all parts ( up )
    i heat 7800 rpms getting 70M out of it. ( speedometer Not GPS )

    * Note :

    The acceleration is perfect for large ski (RXT)
    The Sound is Great ( sporty )

    Thanks in advance

    Get/borrow a GPS....

    You can either...

    - repitch the prop to get to 8100-8140...
    - swap the 3" for a Kanaflex setup, then check RPM...

    One question, since you installed the 3" setup, have you removed all the internal air ventilation? ie. the tube that feeds the hole in front of the seat? The motor can only make so much power if is fed not enough air...

    You want that RXT running at 8100 rpm for best performance. If you're only turning 7800 then you need to remove or lessen the pitch of your prop to raise rpm's.

    Between the two...gps and tach....you'll have a better idea of what you're set-up is doing.

    You're down about 300 rpm. That's what everyone's talking about...check that the prop's "nose cone" hasn't walked up the drive shaft. Get the motor breathing easier...that 3" system is...hmmm....(diplomacy here)...not the best. How much fuel was in the ski during your test...extra weight? What were the temps? air/water? What's your wear ring look like? Have you filled/flushed the holes in the plate and grate?
