    99 SPX Insurance

Hey guys, sorry for all the questions lately. But I just turned 18 today and I have paid off my loan to my mom on my 99 spx. Tomorrow I am going to put it in my name at the secretary of state. I was wondering what you guys are using for insurance... I am trying to keep it as cheap as possible. And then what kind of insurance do I want for it such as theft, liability... although if anyone tries to sue me there not going to be able to get anything out of me, since the only thing i own is my jetski. I heard to that jetskis may be covered under homeowners insurance. Thanks Again.

if its ins. in the parents name, then they will get sued if something bad happens.
title it in your name, get ins. and pay what you have to, or skip the ins.
    and be smart/careful rider.
    its not required.
for a 2k dollar ski no ins is worth it for repairs damage or stolen.
worst case something bad happens, aka you hurt someone, and they sue you, you have nothing to lose. declare bankruptcy and start fresh, since you are 18 you are stsrting fresh anyways...
dont let anyone else ride your ski, in either scenario, except in a very controlled location, like far far far from any docks boats shores people.

I pay $172 a year through progressive, it's a 99 GSXL. Insurance is a smart move cause you just never know.
