Riva RXP SC air intake kit

From what I read the Riva intake kit, with 14/19 prop, gives a little top end. My question is is there a big difference in acceleration? If anyone has one for sale please let me know.

    thanks,
    chris

Not to dissuade you from the riva but a homebrew kanaflex 4" front air intake will flow more air and give you more rpm gain for less money. Look in the "how to" section for directions.

I agree,Make yourself a homemade 4 inch air intake. Then take the money you saved and apply it to a greenwheel and 14/19 prop with a Riva intake grate and you will have a hard accerating 72-74 mph stage 1 ski...

Well..I wound up getting a used Riva intake for cheap locally!! I was putting it on and what a pain it was to mount the bracket and then the tube to the bracket! Then I was thinking what if I ever need to remove the supercharger for service or sink the ski and need to remove the intake pipe...this design seems very difficult to work with......so I modified the tube by cutting the rear off to accommodate the original rubber seadoo hose. now i can remove that section for service. The diameter of the seadoo pipe is the same as the Riva tube so I would think the performance gain would be unaffected. I guess since the kanaflex would not have this type of problem since it is flexible

The kanaflex flows alot more air and will give you more rpm gain.
