    prop install

installed a 13/24 prop and lost 600 rpm , i know it would do this just
not this much ,also installed intake grate and pump seal kit at same time
no cavitation at all . its like riding on rails good hook up
i have several mods exhaust and intake just didnt think prop would kill top end that much with out using the supercharger wheel next thing i will be
is the wheel to at least get me back to stock lol

Glad I'm not the only one going backwards! I thought it was going to be easy making an 1800 supercharged ski fly!! Mine barely goes faster than my FX160, it just gets there quicker. I've just ordered a 13/25. Hope that improves speed a bit.

That's way too much pitch for a stock SC wheel. I have a 13/23 with all the restrictions out of my intake & better cooling and was barely able to turn a 13/23 in cool weather.

Guys, go with R&D's recommendations for pitch for your level of mods. They are really close & you can fine tune from there. Putting these big props on without the power to turn them is going to slow you down...A LOT!!!

I asked this question once before but could not find my old post where someone has posted the answere for me.

What do the numbers mean when it come to the impeller. What does the first set of numbers mean and what do the second numbers mean? Example (12/19)? Also what happens physically when the first and second nubers are higher and lower? Better acceleration and top end?

Trying to mismatch performance parts will cause a lot of grief for you new guys, If you follow the recomended group of parts the package suggest you will be a lot more satisfied in the end with your results. Everyone thinks a bigger pitch prop will make you go faster ( only if you can get to the rpm's the engine needs) Most of the time a over pitched prop ( to tall) will slow you down!
