MSX150 leaking cooling pipe - coincidence?

May be just a coincidence, but 2 x MSX150 had the same raw water leak. This is one owners of msx110&150 can look out for. The fitting that supplies cooling water to the exhaust manifold was leaking where it tee's off (a brazed joint) this is not a big problem and fresh water users may never even notice. I did not like the build up of salt over the oil filter and on the block. It is not an easy job to remove it but if you do the replacement O ring is 20x2 mm. I blamed the salt staining on a hose for some time but when the same staining was evident in my other one - time to sot it out! Silver solder sorted the leak out. my guess is the fittings were never right to begin with.
