Guys I am gonna be running a Big ET SCer with Stock pistons so on my Head gasket. Is it recommended to use copper coat spray on my New OEM head gasket? I have searched and can't find anything. Thanks./..

Yes, This is what I thought. I will be heading out to autozone in the morning to get it before work and should have the motor ready for my conversion ski. Then Head to houston for a little FUN with the man!

It's best to remove the rivets and spray each layer. Pain in the ass but the stuff works great.

sounds like jury says remove rivots and spray each layer individually. Any issues then getting layers back where they need to be.

Skoepp, leave one rivet in place and then you can fan out the different layers, spray them and then fold the gasket back up for installation.

YA +1 to mr jerry
spraying just the top and bottom is silly... might as well not do it at all when it can breach between the 4 layers of steel anyway
dont matter if u remove all the rivots or not... the aligning pins in the block are gonna hold the layers of gaskets in place and stacked properly anyway

What is the advantage of of the copper spray on the gasket layers?
