    lightening RXP hull

hello to every one on the forum
im thinking about lightening the hull of the RXP so gain more top speed and i would like some input and info on :-
    how to do it ?
whats the advantages of doing it ?
what are the disadvantages of lightening the hull ?

i saw les cooke turbo GTI and i saw how he did the hull from the inside he took the first layer of the hull out and i think it saved about 40 kg based on what i was told
so any info and input would help alot
thanks in advance to every one who is sharing

Hi, Les Cooke never removed a layer in the GTI hull, the bottom GTI hull you have seen in Havasu are new lightweight hulls made by Gold Coast Seadoo Australia.

we do the exact same with the RXP hulls.

if you just remove the inner layer, you will not get that far on a RXP and you will also not save as much weight. good luck

the lightweight bottom from Les GTI at havasu was 32 kg (70 lb)lighter then stock. total boat weight 299 kg.

the most weight to save easy is on the topdeck, 70 lb with a lightweight RXP topdeck. on the RXP bottom it is about 85 lb you can save

the lightweight stock hull copys are very cheap, there is no need to messup a stock hull

All sorts. It is kawa bottom and rxp top. Like Malte said if you wana lose wieght in an RXP and not have to much work get a light wieght top deck, hood and seat. This will save quite abit then if you really wana go light get a light wieght hull. Also the Zapata hulls are expensive. R88

it is Important to know !!!!, there is no Kawasaki Zapata hull. , the Zapata Racing hull is used from the official "Seadoo factory team" everything is plug and play, you can use the RXP stockpump or any racing pump for the RXP.

the driveshaft is also stock !!!, the engine mounts are also stock rxt or rotax racing.

the Zapata hull was developed and made to fit exact the stock RXP topdeck .

take a look inside, and tell me if thats not "plug and play"
