    10 hour service

Well, I have an 08 rxp 215, i have about 18 or 19 hours on it, and didnt do the first service yet, i didnt use the learners key..

but have not been keeping it WOT for very long...

What consists of the first service? other than changing the oil?

You or the dealer performs a visual inspection of the whole craft. Dealer will clear any maint reminders off of the cluster too.

You need to change the oil and filter immediately. Don't take it to the dealer cause it's past due. They might delete your warranty for not servicing it at 10 hours. Also lubricate the steering and reverse cables. Make sure you flush the ski on the garden hose after every ride and if in salt water I would rinse and wipe the ski down too. Also check and tighten every hose clamp in the ski. They have been known to be loose and blow off from the factory.

I use the Bomb. Lube and spray the steering cable/mechanism and
    reverse mechanism inside the hull.
Then I spray the cables/ etc on the outside of the boat
at the jet pump area in back.

the 10hour service is essentially a oil change the "check" the ski and spray everything down with xps lube and i mean everything.

also my ski had about the same hours on it when it went for service because my dealer was closed for the long holiday and were backed up afterward.

You might want to look in your Owners Manual to see what needs to be done at each hour-based interval. If you don't have an Owners Manual, download it from SeaDoo.com - in the Owners section. If you want to DIY, get a Service Manual or search the forum for the paprticular task... Ron
