I have searched but can not find any info on how to replace my broken plastic hoses on the hood. I know i can use sump pump hose but what is the replacement procedure?

Take a look around aftermarket websites. I've seen some metal ones that look really cool. Good Luck!! I'll post sites if i find anything.

Very simple... pull them out of the back of the hood, there is a clip that will pull out of the bottom. Install the new ones in reverse order

+2...On the new hoses you will have to drill or pry a new hole in them for the plastic "clip"to hold them on...Just measure the old hose to the new hose, measure were the hole is,Make the new hole and push them back in..

Nope... the tubing will pop right off of the clip

Hey this thread helps me. My bud has a 2006 RXP. I was telling him about the stainless steel units that Riva I think has and for some stupid reason I pressed on his VERY little and it crumbled like an American economy! Touching it made me feel like a stupid kid. "Billy don't touch that it's hot." So Billy for some stupid reason touches it and goes to the hospital for 3rd degree burns on his tongue!

I just went to the local marine store to buy some black outboard tubing. uv resistant and much sturdier
