Aftermarket Tacho Needed For a 215 4 TECH

Guys we can t find a 2.5inch aftermarket tacho for Bumble Bee.

Doe s anyone know what pulse signal these 3 cyclinder engines send so we can talk to some maybe get something custom made.

Autometer don t what to even hear what we have to say mention the work Jet Ski and they just walk away. Even that the ski has been fitted out with there SHIT and its a one of a kind system anyway.

Any help would be great on what pulse signal wes hould be looking for.

why not put a nice 2.5" boost gauge in that pod.... u'll have the oil and water temp gauges up top (unless u changes those i dont know?) .... and then just make a nice little bracket below the dess post on the steering and put a tiny tach there. or just snake the wire up thru the hole in the CF good and velcro a tiny tach just below the opening so u can remove it if need be, wouldn't be anything permanant.

i dont think u are ever going to find a tach gauge that size for a 3-cylinder

actually that pod i put in there is bigger than that... it's a 2 5/8" opening

but it's easy to go smaller with an adapter filler surround for a smaller 2 1/16 gauge

You still have to grab a signal from somewhere... All I could find for a tach signal pickup is the 1 from MSD.

MSD sells a tach adapter which makes it very very simple.

They run about $50 and give you a signal to run any tach.

I am attaching a pdf for both that are available.

Yeah I was looking at the clamp on 1 by MSD. It looks like the install is simple and should work well.
