    stock pistons

I know it's be brought up before, people are spending lot's of money for speed parts/unfortunately there is a hidden problem on lots of gpr, piston ring index pins, if I had any idea this could happened would have spent money on set of pro-x.Now ski's down -thank god happen while flushing at end of day, if had gone bad if surf would have lost ski (and maybe myself!) Food for thought

What the issue with the pins?

My pro-x pistons have the pins in the same location as the OEMs... I think that's another issue all together!

its the differance in how the pins are locked in the piston ..o/e has an issue with the pin coming loose, unable to withstand high rpm.The ring turn's and the unsuported end or side of the ring catches the port...

That almost looks like detonation. Not a ring problem. If a ring catches a port it will pull the ring out of the ring groove and bend the ring over. Not break or melt the ring land. What did the head look like? Just some food for thought.

part of it's in bottom of case's,will have to split them to clean out junk OR have crank rebuilt (trash in bearings)
