look for a blockage or leak in the exhaust system. lots of plastic pieces in that setup that can clog from the inside and or leak, check the rubbers hoses inside for deteriation which you can't see from the inside, take your time while doing it.

Ill get him to try that but it only does it when its on plain. when its
not moving it floats level, so we have ruled out bad weight distribution. and the hull has no water in it. Im leaning towards the pump area having a problem with the way the water comes out of the pump and through the ventura.

It might need to have the nozzle offset to counter the pump.

Thats easy a sponson is broken or the ride plate is loose or damaged

It as to be a problem right from the factory. Everyone iv talked to so far that owns a 3D has the same problem and it always to the right. I think BOATADDICT has the right idea. Anyone know what way the impeller spins ???

Do those skis have a lanyard? If not then it could just be designed to do that. Kawis used to be like that. The reason was that if the rider took a spill, the ski would lean and the pump nozzle would drag-turn toward that direction so the ski would do circles. This way the rider just has to swim toward the angle of travel instead of chase after the ski. It's pretty common to have a lean on a stand-up ski. I think the 3D's were designed to convert to a stand-up or sit-down configuration weren't they?
