Here's my results on IC's.. Rotax vs Riva

I had a full Riva stage 1 kit , plus sc impeller, 14/19 Solas. Never GPS'd... I then purchased the RR IC, plumbing, and the power pipe. With the 14/19 prop i pulled an average speed of 70-71 at 8100 rpm's. I then put the Solas 15/19 prop on and my rpm's dropped to 7700 at 68-69 mph. I pulled the RR IC and powerpipe. I went had Riva install their IC and pipe. With the 15/20 prop i now turn 7950 rpm's at 74.3 mph.

Not sure where the extra rpm's came from the IC or the pipe.

Cant wait for the Riva hood for more cool air.

There must be something awfully good about that intercooler, or awfully good about that 15/20 Solas... maybe a combination between the two.

    Great results!

Hopefully with either the Riva fresh air intake or using one of the ideas from this board I can get some more out of it.. Hulk cant wait to see if insulating those tubes helps.. Please let us know.
