i looked quite a bit myself through several model years and never scored that number either........... maybe a 1 is the last number should it turn out to be a (1) one thats a naturally aspirated cam for 2004 4-tec motor...420837621..i have TWO of them....i just looked at one and the hash mark to make the top of the 1 resembles a 7 but its NOT.

its definitely a seven, i searched myself and couldnt find a match, but that has happened to me with seadoo alot (using the advanced search feature) .. it was in a 05 rxp, but not positive if its the original cam or not.

I am the original owner of my 2005 RXP and have the same 27 cam ... number is 837627, so apparently some of the 2005 RXPs came with the 27 cam stock.

Fun Fun! The mystery cam! shhh. It's more than likely a mid year part number change, you know how BRP just LOVES to increment part numbers for no reason whatsoever, with no change to the actual part itself at all . Being it's out of an 05, I'd say its an early 05, and is a "28" cam before the part number was changed.

And can you beleive they removed the advanced search!?!?! I used that SOO much... I'm rather upset about that, why did they do that??
